Cheating soccer moms are mothers who abandon the responsibilities of their own children to care for or support those of others with the intention of getting an advantage in the competitive world of youth soccer. These moms often put their children in positions of unfair advantage, such as coaching teams their children are on or secretly arranging for them to try out for leagues they're not qualified for. They often also offer money or other favors to coaches, referees, or other soccer officials in order to influence outcomes for their own children. These actions are unethical and often lead to fraught relationships between soccer teams and angered parents, making an already competitive atmosphere even more hostile.
