Flipper mom is a term used to describe a person (usually a mother) who works two jobs, sometimes even three, to provide for her family. By doing this, she may go without sleep and meals to get things done, but her family is her priority. Flipper moms may come in any shape, size, and economic or socio-economic background, but they all share a common trait: they put their family first. Flipper moms make sure their children have access to a quality education, as well as basic needs like food and shelter.
